As a sleep deprived parent, with a career dedicated to supporting families using the latest evidence, I know how much effort it takes to keep functioning on insufficient sleep. And that it takes the whole family to make sustainable change. I completely understand the challenges that come from wanting to be the best possible parent while feeling exhausted. We all need quality sleep and without it, life is an uphill struggle.
Just thinking about the bedtime routine caused so much anxiety, with very little sleep it just felt relentless.
We keep going because that’s what parents do, but at some point I just knew that I needed some expert help.
Working with a sleep consultant was eye-opening. It absolutely changed our whole family life. In fact, the experience was inspirational, and I could see just how much other families could gain from similar support. I offer that support and use my expertise as a qualified sleep consultant to help parents like me navigate those tricky challenges we face with infant sleep.
